Blasphemous has a decent challenge to it. Not quite as hard as Hollow Knight, some gameplay mechanics that I wish were better. (It needs more teleport/fast travel points and a better map/quest tracker.) It's got Styyyyyyle though.

We get about a week of Spring around here. Winter doesn't really get going until January then lasts through April. Then we get a week of Spring in May then BAM! It's summer. Fall is great though.

The balance is just the right levels of randomness and intelligence that makes for a good rouge-lite, and the card system is deep but accessible. I saw people complaining about difficulty, but as long as you don't get greedy you can get a good run out of each playthrough. Most of the times I lost it was my fault.

I love the Cornell website. I usually forget it exists unless I'm doing the winter bird count. =/ I need to remember to use it more often.

Man... I disconnected my PS3 for space reasons.  Also, LBP 3 is broken as fuck.  I bought it when it was on sale and...  I had that game hard lock freeze on me twice... in normal levels.  It's a disgrace.

I'll have to go back and finish Xillia 2 someday.  (I'm deep into ps4 land now.)  As for the little girls voice, she drives me nuts because all I hear is Chopper from One Piece.  (Sorry, now you will too.)  The combat in Xillia is at least easier to get a grip on than Graces was.  I played about 20 hours of Graces before it all clicked in my head. Just remember, you're assigning the attacks to the buttons you want, the key is remembering which weakness is on which button and spamming it.  Although weapon switching makes it super easy to hit weaknesses.

The secret to the debt thing is spend the money.  If your over the amount she wants she'll call every time you change locations.  Keep the money below that amount and it won't trigger.  I call it the games way of saying 'stop hording ther money.'

I think the "Constantine not getting picked up" for a back 13 has been known since November.  Unless your insider knowledge relates to the creators not bothering to shop it around... which would be terrible on DC's part.  I've been enjoying it, tonight's episode was great.  I hope if NBC ditches it Sci-fi or Netflix picks it up.

I bought a new Mac last October, proceeded to download Guild Wars 2 and that might explain what happened to my gaming backlog.  Guild Wars 2 swallowed my time, and the remander was split between the rest of my hobbies.

I almost completed Brutal Legend... that game had some interesting design flaws....

Claymore is one of those series that they had to make an anime original ending for.  (I'm still collecting and reading the manga... which keeps plugging along.)

After this winter I totally know where you're coming from with the car bullshit!  

It's hard to tell if this game is easier than the last one, or if I'm just getting better at the series the longer I play it.  The PC version surely runs far smoother than the PS3 version though, although I wouldn't want to deal with hacked characters.

There's a fish hatchery close to my family's cottage in New Hampshire.  We used to drive by and see the blue herons hanging out near the fish pools trying to snag a free meal.  I'm sure a few of them found ways to get around all the netting.  They're cool birds.

I forgot that game existed.  It was such an early PS3 game.  Wow.

Snap pivot is just hard to get the timing right on, or at least it was for me.  I almost never used it.  Also, you're probably right where I put the game down after doing a bunch of side stuff.  I need to just bite the bullet and finish the damn game!
