Sprung for the T-shirt bundle. I need me some wearable Metal Slug goodness!
Probably just links, unless it's stuff like my old music from ages ago or even new tunes. Gotta keep my view count up!
And so much more.... But I'm confident we can get it all go!
Dood, that hair...
Still on the fence whether I'm wearing the ol' Mega Man Beanie my mother made, but if you see it... that's me.
Maybe not on the level that the TG16/PCE or Saturn had, but there were definitely some huge standouts like Ikaruga, Border Down and Triggerheart Exelica, not to mention all of HuCast and NG:DEV's stuff!
We missed it this year, but that's a mistake we're fixing for next year.
That was a great touch.
LOOOOVE me some EDF.
Not your fault, it's thiers. I mean, how could you possibly forget who the winner of a contest was...? I know I've never forgotten the guys alias, nor will I. At the very least, his stuff is gone now and I can move on... unless they do something more to set me off.
Ugh, that's unbearable.... No, it wasn't mine. It was done by some guy that posted once and only once on the forums. Username was Strugglepoo (that stung) and he used a soundfont rather than custom soundtables (double KO). I lost to him by something like 4 votes (Triple KO). I try to use much more finesse in my music, and my entry was no exception. I even used a DSi and a Game Boy Color in mine. Believe me when I say, I've been bitter about that for years. I almost got over it too, now I have to think about this. Player One fails so hard...
BTW, here's what my entry was;
Actually, the whole reason for my sudden disappearance was a near-burnout situation. I just couldn't get going, and work was getting me down. I haven't been doing too much better lately though, so hopefully I can get this year done, take a break and come back swinging.
Yep, We're gearing up for the sixth year of it, so hopefully, we can keep up the momentum...
May I suggest EspGaluda II?
Still figuring out what I'm doing, but I hope to have a new post sometime soon.
Cool man, cool to see you around too!
They never used mine. Mine was a very narrow loss by four votes.
As for Shmups.com... yeah, it's pretty easy to feel unworthy thanks to the massive pricks that reside there. They want to propegate their favorite genre, but push the new blood out. Kind of a oxymoronic, double-edged, catch 22.
Dood. Ring of Red was pretty freaking good. Totally thoguh I'd see it here.
I am SO out this gen.
1) Persona 4 (PS2)
2) Chrono Trigger (SNES)
3) Final Fantasy VI (SNES)
4) Valkyre Profile (PSone)
5) Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter (PS2)
6) SaGa 2: Hihou Denstesu Goddess of Destiny (Nintendo DS)
7) Makai Toushi SaGa (Wonderswan Color)
8) Ys III: Wanderers of Ys (Turbografx CD)
9) Xenogears (PSone)
10) Skies of Acrcadia (Dreamcast)
Not really, actually. Since a lot of them don't work so well, they typically go for less than Jags do.
I vote A Boy and His Blob (Wii) for best button. I don't know of many games with a Hug button, but surely ABAHB's is the most adorable.
Ignore steambox. The first one available to market is $1000. You could get SUCH a better PC with that kinda scratch which does Steam anyway! Just hook it up to your TV =P
I'll be going with PS4, if anything at all. The reality of it all is that I could be finished with modern console gaming entirely. Whatup, retro imports?
At least I'm not the only one looking to the future with dread. Why not learn a new language? Like Japanese? There's 30 years of games you could import if you did. Since I can read it, that's probably what I'mma do.
