Great news! Well, for me anyway - I’m on vacation. What this means is we won’t be talking about Darksiders this week. Instead, I’ve decided to solo this podcast and talk about one of my favorite things about modern gaming: the music.
We’ll get started talking about the awesomeness that is Capcom, whose 8 bit chiptunes are in an elite class with the likes of Konami and Nintendo themselves. There’s a big reason why they were my favorite developer as a child, and a lot of that had to do with their music.

We won’t be stopping there though. What do Link and Gene Wilder have in common? What was the one redeeming quality about some of utter garbage Ocean crapped out on the SNES? It’s all here, so put on your headphones and start listening, because those lousy PC speakers aren’t gonna cut it this time!
I do have one bit of bad news. At the end of the podcast I promised a link, however, the creator's site is apparently down as none of the links to their MP3s currently work. Instead, here's a link to a YouTube video of another song from that album. From there, you can find out more about the author and listen to some more of their music, as well as see his channel and website.
Cool, i'm a huge Guilty Gear fan and the soundtrack is one of my favourites
woah, did sign in :P
Tick the "Remember Me" box at the top of the page (left) before you login, so as to not have to login everytime. Unless of course you prefer to login everytime.
i'll keep that in mind. I may do one of these again and I'd love suggestions.
Pixlbit Radio! Pure Oldies, 8-bit Oldies. What a great idea. Could listen to this all day!!!
Glad you liked it!
I just listened to this (finally). Why isn't this it's own show? I'm pretty sure you were looking for more to do around here. I think this is it. ENTERTAIN ME!
