Rare announced recently, via Twitter, that the patch to Xbox Live Arcade version of Perfect will be dropping soon.
When Rare first announced that the title was to be patched for bugs, new controls, and other small fixes, their tentative release date was the middle to end of April.
According to the company, the update will drop this Thursday, May 6. Last week the patch completed the certification process and is now ready to be released.
Those who have been holding out to buy or play the game can finally mark the day on their calendars.
For some reason I have a feeling that Nick will somehow be disappointed in some way.
One more day... *gargle*
Seriously, this is exactly what I wanted, so I commend Rare for getting it in there. I still don't understand how they didn't include it in the first place. Seems like an obvious omission, but whatever, no big deal.
I really need to organize some 4-player local-multiplayer matches because this game was absolute gold with a few friends, but so often framerate used to kill the experience. With that concern out of the way, I'm expecting some epic matches in the near future.
