One of my brothers got married a couple of weeks ago, hence the title of this blog. So congrats to him! And I also got married as well. Sort of. You’ll just have to read on to find out! It’s time for my “Best Video Games of 2025 Awards Show!” Keep in mind that this is my list only and no other outside opinions contributed. And if a game isn’t on this list, it either just didn’t appeal to me as much or I haven’t had a chance to play it yet. Ok with that out of the way, let’s begin!
In the fall you get a lot of food with pumpkin flavors. I liked pumpkin flavored stuff before it was popular. But most of it now is just pumpkin spice. I really prefer just the plain old pumpkin flavor because pumpkin spice just tastes like nutmeg and cinnamon. Anyway, here are some pumpkin flavored reviews for you all. I forgot to mention three other games I've played in the last few weeks, F1 '22, Star Wars Squadrons and Screamride.
A few months ago, we got a couple of downloadable only collections of Namco NES and Famicom games. I even wrote about them, which you can read here. But did you know that in Japan, they got a physical copy of the game on the Switch, and that it had different games and a new interface? I actually imported this game because it was only 30 bucks, which isn’t bad for an import title. So let’s take a look at this collection and what makes it different from the ones we got in the US!

One of my first RPGs was Ultima III: Exodus on NES and PC. Ultima, along with Wizardry, was considered to be one of the two ancestors of the video RPG genre. Eventually I was able to get a hold of the other games in the series. The entire series is on GOG, including the spinoffs like Worlds of Adventure and Underworld.
Hurry, hurry, hurry! Step right up for the latest theme park attraction! It’s a theme park based around Mr. Driller, and it’s all underground! Sounds safe enough, right? Anyway, Mr. Driller Drill Land was an awesome GameCube title, but it only stayed in Japan. But now you can download it on Nintendo Switch in the US! Finally! Each attraction represents a game mode in this theme park, and I’m going to take you on a tour of all of them! So let’s begin!
My ace farm isn't the wildly gigantic and sprawling one Mark's is. My ace farm is very densely built and organized with roads. I also go for aethetics and want it to look nice. Like, I built a fountain with some benches and surrounded it with banana trees to make a little park between my crops and a pool of tropical fish. It's got to be photogenic. I have an instinct to do that. I'm an exterior decorator.

Hello again and welcome back - it's time to look at February. February seems to be a bit hit or miss this gen. If not for a pretty strong year in 2017, February may be the weakest month of the year. Though it seems like we could be making a sharp turn this year. Heavy hitters like Anthem and Metro: Exodus are out. We have the return of Crackdown and Ace Combat. Also new entries in the Far Cry and God Eater series to top it off. Past years may have seemed slower than other months but there were still games worth playing.

I'm going to listen to a lot of music from 1969. I figured I might as well extend that to books, so I'm going to read Patrick O'Brian's Master and Commander. I saw the movie and thought it was great. What about the video games? Well, there were several space flight sim computer games made on mainframes, which makes sense because this was the year of the Apollo 11 landing on the moon. I tried to play them and then any others I could find. The results are recorded below.
You know, there are a lot of Nintendo franchises that I really like, such as Kirby, Zelda, Animal Crossing, Metroid, etc. And there are some that I don’t like as much, but I don’t hate either. Star Fox is one of those franchises. But for as indifferent as I am about Star Fox, I’ve ended up playing every game in the series, so I guess I at least like it a little bit. So in honor of the recent release of Star Fox Zero, I thought I’d go through all the Star Fox games and give my quick impressions and personal experiences with each one. I’m not really rating each of these games on this list, although if I had to say, the first three here would be my favorites.
