So I need to type this up quickly because I have an idea for a project that I am working on and I’d like to jump into it. I should be doing that first, but I also have a couple of things I have on my head that I want to share with you good people and if I jump into my project I’ll forget it, so here we are. Ok so before I get sucked into ripping CDs I need to get this entry going. So good morning Pixlpeeps and Hello Fall! Summer you were fun but hot damn it was hot this year and I am ready for cooler weather and folks going crazy over pumpkin spice everything. So here we are and I am ready to recap the fun events of the last couple of weeks that really had nothing to do with video games, except for buying a couple of cheap ones. Anyways let's get started!
School has me incredibly busy and I am gearing up for another fucking wedding.
As I’m trying to get back on a normal schedule I really wanted to not do a Quick Hits today so I can get some other random tasks done like finish my Ultimate Playlist and start on the shorter version of the list for my phone but since I’ve been slacking a bit the last couple of weeks it was better for me to just get things going. I went to play Doom's open beta today and it is done.
Pixlbit Nation, Happy Friday! This week was a bit slow but it picked up around Wednesday (doesn’t it always?) So how are you good people? Any fun plans for the weekend? I’m probably going to do my usual, but I will also throw in some things like go to the park, take some pictures, and maybe catch up on some video games I haven’t played in a bit. Though I've been floating around here I've mostly been sleeping, work is very tiring
It pains me to say that I had to quit on a new game this year that I was actually enjoying. I ran into a wierd bug where the game just gets locked into a menu screen. On top of that, this game has no checkpoints. The only way to save in this game is through standard save points and you can't F5 or menu save whenever you want either.
Now before I go getting hated on for feeling this way, let me explain. Last year I got platnium, just like this year and last year the reward I choose really made me feel like collecting those points that year were utterly worth it. If yall saw my Christmas blog I got the Majora's Mask CD Soundtrack that had 2 CD's to it and pretty much 50 tracks a piece for each one. This collection practically had every single song to sound on the game in it. That item itself made last years points worth it. Yall know me, I normally buy games at full new buy price. Especially the first time I buy a game. I like to do whats needed to support the developers especially if its a game I know ill enjoy and after recieving that Soundtrack last year it was totally worth it. This year, their only offering digital games as their rewards. I utterly feel reaching platnium was truely a waste. Digital games that cost around 7 to 14 bucks maybe 1 or 2 are worth 20? Seriously Nintendo? I honestly dont even know if I wanna take the time to collect the coins this year....this is a big let down and I was super excited.
Yes, this is a "bitching blog" As some of you may know I am looking highly toward the release of Final Fantasy: Realm Reborn for the PS4 and even spoke of preordering the Collectors Edition. Well Square as really pulled one of their "were gonna do this shit weird as fuck this time around!" moments. Right now, you can only and I mean ONLY preorder the Collectors Edition to Realm Reborn off their site. Gamestop, Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other retailers dont have it. Not to mention the word exclusive is on it in their store. Now you may ask, "Why is this such a big deal?" To the fact it makes no fucking sense! They allowed other retailers to take preorders on the PC and PS3. I dont see why they have to be a pain in the ass about the PS4 verison. Im still wanting to preorder it and fuck yall know me by now, I prolly will but I shall be not happy about and I will stomp around my livingroom in angry fashion form! GRRRRRRRRRRR!
I just beat Hotline Miami and have to say it was incredible.
Ok guys. There are some things we need to talk about, ok? Sometimes, people on the internet complain about things over and over and over, even though they're wrong. And stupid. Anyway, here are 5 of them!
So I thought the bitching and the crying and the bringing it up was done for Mass Effect 3. I was severally wrong. Apparently the writer of Mass Effect 2 had to have a say on the ending and the possiable endings that could have been done and for me thats just getting the bitch cry fest started. I dont get it, I honestly dont, if you enjoyed the game accept the ending move on to your next game. I mean ya, if you forced yourself to play through a really shitty game and the ending sucked then ya, I dont blame ya bitching about it but come on people, let it go at some point. In all honesty I think Bioware shouldnt have had to release a different ending DLC for the game. I think they should have left it the way it was and told everyone to accept it or go play another game. The biggest complaint' But my descisions I made!!" Apparently for you to keep going you must have enjoyed the game, is that not good enough for you!!!! I guess not because people still seem to bitch about it! Can Mass Effect 4 please release so these fuckheads will shut their traps, please with sugar on top?
