I ripped through my Switch rentals this week and saved what I thought I'd like best for last and, sure enough, I'm still playing it. I've even played it on multiple systems now. Here's everything though.

Hey folks, I just wanted to post this blog to let you know that I won’t be writing any more game reviews. APRIL FOOLS! This blog is the total opposite of that! For the longest time I was kind of sad I never got the NES Classic Edition. But when Nintendo restocked them last, I was finally able to get one! So here is a blog about all the games you can play on it.
Smash Character Wishlist
As much as I like Nintendo, they have made quite a few mistakes as a game company. Some are big, like the Virtual Boy and using cartridges on the N64. And some are not quite so big. One of those ‘not quite so big’ mistakes I feel is how they released the NES Classic Edition last year. For those who don’t know, the NES Classic Edition was a smaller console that looked like the 8-bit NES and had 30 games on it. But Nintendo didn’t make enough and it’s very hard to find. Even I don’t have one! I know Nintendo recently said they would make more and release them next summer, but we’ll just have to see about that. So when I saw where I could order the Famicom Classic Edition online for nearly retail price, I decided to import that instead. The Famicom was the Japanese version of the NES. Their Classic Edition has most of the same games as the NES one, but with a few changes here and there. So in this blog, I’m going go over the Famicom Classic console, the games on it, and at the end I’ll share some good news related to this topic!

Warning, New Challenger Approaching!
Okay so as you all know Club Nintendo had their platinum/gold rewards and I received Gold. However, none of the games they are offering interest me...or I have them on VC...and I don't have a 3DS...even if I had gotten platinum this year I already own Game & Wario, Earthbound, and the NES Remix.
.... and they're all digital games. Don't rush on over. Looks like Club Nintendo is out right now.
Fans of the Wario Ware series tend to like 9-Volt’s mini-games the most. Honestly, I can’t really blame them. Unlike Wario Ware, however, NES Remix and its follow-up on the WiiU eShop doesn’t come from the crazy mind of Yoshio Sakamoto; instead, it’s a tribute/mashup of Nintendo’s ‘classic’ NES titles from 1983 to 1986. I put classic in quotes because, let’s be perfectly honest here, a majority of Nintendo’s early Famicom titles have not aged well.

Several months ago I decided to start doing some posters of the best NES games. I could have done many more, but I decided to do a total of 21 games. I want to share these posters with you over the next few days. I really enjoyed doing these, and I hope you enjoy gazing at them. Hopefully they'll bring back some good ol' NES nostalgia for you. With each game is the developer and the original NES date of its release.
So Nintendo sales were less than stellar, but a slate of great fall titles and even more upcoming announcements are coming soon. But people still aren't sold on the Wii U, hence why it's well...not selling. And with PS4 and Xbox 180 (Yes we're all going to call it that and make childish jokes...you know it!). Anyways it seems the higher ups at Nintendo can't seem to find a way to make Wii U stick out, but alas I have some ideas...not to say they aren't secretly working on them already. But here's how Nintendo can market the Wii U!*

Note that it has been edited a bit and I have added more characters this time. Plus just in time for E3 too. This time I'm writing about which characters I want to see as playable fighters in the next games. It'll be kinda like a wishlist, so Ready...Go!
It's that time of the year again...
So the next Smash Bros. is being developed by Namco Bandai. And while we still have absolutely zero knowledge of who or what will be in the next Smash Bros. We can at least speculate and speculation is fun. So I compiled a list of 10 Namco Bandai characters we may or may not see (5 who have chances....5 who have zero). But we might not even get any at all so without further ado....I present you thy list!!!
1. Pac-Man -Chances- 75% at least.
Let's take into example Pac-Man. Pac-Man is a staple of Namco Bandai. There are several references to Pac-Man within many Namco Bandai games and there have even been Pac-Man games released on a Nintendo console! Pac-Man probably has the best chance of any considering he's an iconic figure in video games and he's a practical fan vote shoe in if they asked for it. Only problem is just because Namco Bandai is developing...doesn't mean they'll add something of their own. Which could be the only reason why Pac-Man doesn't eat his way into the game.
2. Klonoa -Chances- 50% at least.
This week's PB & Jason has a focus on fireworks! Well, maybe not fireworks exactly, but rather the Fourth of July, the USA's Independence Day. Expect to hear of a handful of video games that really get in the July 4th spirit with fireworks and, in the case of Metal Gear Solid 2, convoluted plots! For those of you looking for a little more than holidays, don't worry! I've packed PB & Jason 91 with a lot more, mostly centered around what video games I'd like to see in the future! Spoiler Alert: I mention the Ice Climbers. A lot. There's also some hype for the Zelda: Symphony of the Goddess concert I'll be attending in less than two weeks, as well as a little bit of discussion about a not-so-retro game I'm replaying: Dragon Quest IX. Each and every year E3 brings about the biggest gaming announcements of the year and this year appears to be no exception. With the Wii U coming later this year, the 3DS and Vita picking up steam, and the next generation looming on the horizon, we're surely going to see some megatons dropped. But what will they be?
Please note, contents of the celebration issue will be remarkably similar to the contents found inside any other PB & Jason, brief retrospection notwithstanding.
While it was originally cut from the starting line-up of 3DS launch colors, Nintendo announced today that the Flame Red color is going to become available in North America and Europe on September 9, alongside the launch of Star Fox 64 3D. The red color has already made its debut in Japan on June 23, as 'Flare Red'.
