Konami recently came out with a collection of their licensed Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games they released back in the late 80s and early 90s, during the first round of the Turtles’ heyday. Since a lot of people grew up with and enjoyed these titles, this collection is a pretty big deal. Especially since for a long time, it would’ve been hard to get the rights to all these games again! But I guess since Nickelodeon has all the rights to TMNT stuff now, maybe that part was easier to do? Anyway, of course I got this collection so grab a slice of pizza and let’s take a look at the games on here as well as my personal history with each title.
These past few months have been shaping up towards being rather hard on my gaming budget. There are too many upcoming games that I really want, and me being me, I'll probably end up getting all of them even though I am currently working my way through the Xenoblade trilogy. Incidentally, unless Bayonetta 3 really, really knocks it out of the park in October, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is likely to be my GOTY.
At the beginning of every year I like to take a look at the games I’m looking forward to in the coming year and write about them. So that’s what we’re going to do here. Keep in mind that this list is by no means comprehensive, though. There will surely be games announced through the year that I will be interested in. And some of these games might be delayed, and there will be games I may not know about yet or have forgotten about. It’s hard to keep up with all the indie games I might want to play, for instance. But here’s my list anyway.

Hey folks, I got some great news! Best news I’ve had in a while. MY MOM IS CANCER FREE!!! She had another surgery to take out some lymph nodes, and they tested them and there is no cancer left. So she probably won’t have to do radiation or chemo or anything like that. You can’t imagine how relieved we all are. So thanks for all your prayers during all this. But don’t stop praying just yet! She still has to heal from her surgeries and she’ll need one more reconstruction surgery from her mastectomy. And we don’t want this or any other cancer to come back! But we’re still glad she’ll get to start the healing process sooner. So to celebrate, here are some game reviews I’ve written recently over at GamerDad.com.
