In the fall you get a lot of food with pumpkin flavors. I liked pumpkin flavored stuff before it was popular. But most of it now is just pumpkin spice. I really prefer just the plain old pumpkin flavor because pumpkin spice just tastes like nutmeg and cinnamon. Anyway, here are some pumpkin flavored reviews for you all. Princess Peach Showtime is out and in the game, Peach gets a starring role as she dons new outfits in stage plays. So I thought it might be neat to go through all the outfits she has and what they are like. But keep in mind there may be some spoilers here and there, so watch out for that. A couple of months ago I reviewed the PlayDate, a new handheld gaming device that has a crank on the side that you can wind to control some of the games. The other unique thing about this device is how you get the games. They come two at a time and are downloaded automatically on the handheld each week on a Monday. I talked about a few of them when I wrote my initial review, and then another batch of ten more about a month later. And now I’ve got my final batch of ten from season one, so we’ll go over those as well as my final thoughts on the PlayDate.

I’m really excited about the upcoming release of New Pokémon Snap. The original was a special game to me, and I’ll explain why in this blog. The mainline Pokémon games are great, but I haven’t played any of the more recent ones because I feel they are all pretty much the same game. Now, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Why fix what isn’t broken? And with every new generation of Pokémon game comes a new generation of kids to enjoy them, and while they may be the same game to me, it’s new to them. While I haven’t played a new mainline Pokémon game since Black & White, I still like the Pokémon settings and characters and do enjoy a lot of the spin-off games. So in this blog we’re going to take a look at some of my favorite Pokémon spin-off games in honor of the upcoming release of New Pokémon Snap!
Hey folks, I got some great news! Best news I’ve had in a while. MY MOM IS CANCER FREE!!! She had another surgery to take out some lymph nodes, and they tested them and there is no cancer left. So she probably won’t have to do radiation or chemo or anything like that. You can’t imagine how relieved we all are. So thanks for all your prayers during all this. But don’t stop praying just yet! She still has to heal from her surgeries and she’ll need one more reconstruction surgery from her mastectomy. And we don’t want this or any other cancer to come back! But we’re still glad she’ll get to start the healing process sooner. So to celebrate, here are some game reviews I’ve written recently over at GamerDad.com. Things have been pretty weird as of late, as I’m sure you all know. I’ve gotten behind in my blogs and so have to dump a lot of games I’ve played over the last four or five days. Here they are.
At the beginning of every year I like to write a blog about the games I’m looking forward to in that coming year, so here we are again with games I’m looking forward to in 2020! Now keep in mind that these aren’t ALL the games I’m looking forward to. More will be announced at E3 and such I’m sure as the year goes on. And there are some games that I’m looking forward to that have been announced, but I’m not sure they’ll really come out in 2020, like Breath of the Wild 2 and Metroid Prime 4. But you never know. But here are a list of 2020 games that I’m PRETTY sure are coming this year and I’m looking forward to them.

I just realized i still haven't played Destiny 2 by myself or with Blake. I need to get on that.
I set up my PS2 and ran through some stuff I will probably trade. I want to get those out of the way first before I try the ones I’m most excited about. Then I got back to Xbox One and Banner Saga 2.

Everyone is all excited over recent E3 announcements, and most of the really good titles come out during the Christmas season at the tail end of the year, and the games that come out earlier tend to be forgotten.
