Game maker Capcom is known for lots of things, like Mega Man, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, etc.  But probably what they are known best for is their large roster of fighting games, such as Street Fighter.  They did a collection of them a few years ago, plus one last year that had all their Marvel games on it.  And now they’ve got another one with even more fighters!  So let’s take a look at the games on this collection.

It's been quite a year! I played a ton of games this year, and there were plenty of games that I wanted to play that I didn't get to (too many games!). Some of those games will roll over into next year. For 2021, I beat a total of 25 games! Instead of talking about all of those, I'll just highlight the ones I really enjoyed this year and after that, I'll tell you my personal Game of the Year. So here are the games I beat this year that I really loved.

The “Golden Age” started here.

Today marks the 30th anniversary of Final Fantasy IV. Originally released on July 19, 1991, it was a momentous event due in no small part to the fact that this was the first in the series to debut on the Super Famicom. It was released to critical acclaim, and once again several months later when it came to the US on the Super Nintendo as Final Fantasy II (since we missed the first two sequels on the NES). Unfortunately, I didn’t get to play it until a decade later, when it was re-released as part of Final Fantasy Chronicles. And although I was late experiencing my first 16-bit RPG, it was undoubtedly worth the wait.

At the tip top of Amazon’s page reads a banner: “New and interesting finds.” Never knew that was there. Did you? Apparently it's a feature they introduced a few months ago. I clicked around, surprised at the many artistic, unique products. I was amused, bewildered. By the end, I laughed, I cried, I lol’d.

Pixlpeeps how are you doing on this fine Christmas week (for you folks who don’t celebrate Christmas, how are you doing on this fine week?) So on Friday I was writing up a Quick Hits blog, and got pulled into some Christmas shopping. I figured I would finish up the latest entry when I got home, but instead put it off until Sunday when I decided to just do another combo blog today. Sound cool? Call it being lazy/I want to talk about some games I’ve been playing/yeah being lazy. Sound good? Good, let’s get started!

Pixlbit Nation how are ya? I am exhausted and I am excited that today is the start of my weekend. I’ve been having some odd sleeping patterns where I would wake up at 5am. One morning I woke up, thought it was 6ish when I usually get up and it was 3am. THREE AM! It’s a tad bit insane but hopefully it ends so I can get back to a normal sleeping pattern.* So what are your plans for the weekend? Anything fun? I am going to hit the weekend Swapmeet because Swapmeet Lady said she would have some new products. Let’s get started with this week’s Quick Hits.

Pixlbit Nation, Happy Freaking Friday! It is a nice 70 degrees here in Sunny Southern California. I do miss the week of winter weather but it is nice to have the windows and doors open. As I type up the latest entry in the Quick Hits blogs I’m listening to the playlist that is full of the CDs I’ve been buying recently. It is an 800-track playlist, and currently I’m around 150 songs in. I’m listening to find tracks that I find catchy, that I’d like to listen to again. While syncing this playlist I found that iTunes needed to make room so it removed my Podcast playlist. That sucks but at the same time I have a ton of new content to listen to anyways if I want to achieve my goal of listening to everything in my iTunes library. Alright Pixlbit enough with the talk about what’s on the iPod, let’s get this Quick Hits Party Bus started!

Crash Twinsanity According to Greenman

Blog Entry
Published on February 28, 2014 8:48 PM - 12 minute read

Crash Twinsanity is worse than Assassin's Creed 3. It belongs high up on the "Worst Things Humanity Ever Made" list along with the Star Wars prequels, nuclear waste, Agent Orange, and Tim Tebow. Everything about this game is torture, which is made even worse because it has potential. There's a mix of good ideas and the terrible ideas, none of which work well. This review needs to be a little more in than my other coverage of the Crash games because what's wrong with it boils down to everything.

Just another Zelda game. Or is it???

I am not a Zelda fan. Even in the early days, the series never really grabbed me. Oh, I played the original Legend of Zelda and its immediate sequels/prequels for the NES and SNES respectively. Other than that first game and Link’s Awakening on the Game Boy, the many entries in the franchise have never held me long enough to finish them. And I’ve tried. Oh, how I’ve tried! So based on what you’ve read, you would probably assume that I’m the worst person to review The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds on this website. Maybe you’re right, but I think I’m the best person to write this review because of my lukewarm reception to the series. So let’s move on and see who’s right, shall we?

Well it's about 6 am right now and I decided why the heck not post in the waking hours of the morning when it's still dark out. Anyways what do I blog about? I guess anything is up in the air. Well lets discuss a little about me. My name is Jon....as if you couldn't guess. I also like Nintendo. (Well duh get on with it you say!) Alright alright...well since the Wii U has been out for a year I figured I'd post my thoughts about it since I managed to buy it and some games. All in all everything cost me $500 plus tax. You might be wondering just what I got well I figured as much so I will tell you.

Most of you know that I write reviews on Rotorob Gaming. I enjoy writing for the site, especially when I get a cool game like Stealth, Inc (which you guys should definitely check out. It's great). The thing is though, I don't like our scoring system. Not just that we score more than we should from graphics to controls to gameplay, but we use numbers. And I'm just going to say it, numbers don't work for scoring.
