As it turns out, 2009 was a seriously packed year with a large variety of titles being released all year long.

As promised, this week PixlBit was officially included on Gamestats.com and will continue to be on their aggregation lists going forward. While there have been no official confirmations, early next year, we should start being listed on both Metacritic.com and Gamerankings.com.

Last week it was announced that the contents of Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition would be released as a collection of downloadable content. Today, Capcom announced Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition, which is set to release in March and will feature the full Resident Evil 5 game in addition to the four downloadable content packs that comprise the Alternative Edition.

In this week's Famitsu, Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition was detailed. The pack, confirmed for DLC release, will include two separate missions as well as two costume packs, aside from the new motion and pointer controls.

This week had a couple of memorable events on the site. In addition to all the usual content you would expect from PixlBit, Nick and Chessa teamed up to do a special Audio Review for one of the hottest titles this holiday season, New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

During TGS 2009, Capcom announced Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition, while Sony was showcasing their new motion controller.

Yesterday at their press conference, Sony announced Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition for PS3. Today, during Capcom's TGS Press Conference Resident Evil 5 producer Masachika Kawata revealed new details about the upcoming survival horror game.

At Sony's Tokyo Game Show Press Conference, they revealed that Capcom's upcoming Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition will be compatible with Sony's motion controller. Both are scheduled for a spring 2010 release.
