Hey everybody! I’ve got more links to reviews I’ve written recently at GamerDad.com! I hope you get a chance to look at some of these especially, because I just got back from PAX South last week and wrote my article on that. Also managed to snag a box of Super Mario Cereal and wrote about it, and I got a few fairly high-profile game reviews, too. So please click on as many links as you can and maybe even post a like or comment or two. I’d really appreciate it. OK let’s begin!
I can't quite remember when I actually played these, so they're in order of release. Source: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/every-game-release-date-in-2017/1100-6446643/
Hey guys, sorry I've been away for so long. Had a bit of a depressive slump, had a bit of a breakdown, had some life shit. It's okay though, I'm feeling a lot better now! Getting therapy, on decent meds and whatever, and while I still have my blue periods (gross), I'm a lot healthier and have a lot more confidence in myself. I know I was a complete and utter self destructive asshole who got swept up in being super selfish and in general kind of a cunt. At the same time though, I now recognise that I am getting better. I'm feeling empathy again, which means I also feel a lot of guilt over some things I have done that I don't overly want to go into here, but I also recognise that it's all part of getting better. Sometimes you have to feel worse to get better.
I'm sure you've all been wondering what this rapscallion has been up to. Well...
Pi Day! Boston Market has a pretty good deal. So do pizza places. Actual dessert pies I'm sure do as well.
So I more or less wrote NWP a blog post yesterday in the comments.
Well after a well rested weekend I'm back for more bloggin' Enjoys today's batch of games!
Well another day of BaD is here. So with that comes MORE GAMES! Enjoy todays batch!
This will be a continuing theme for quite a while. You see I own 250 or so wii games (I've lost track by now), and will probably get more and more. Why? Well I can't pass up a cheap game for $5 and bargain bin buys bring out the crazy game collector in me. As such with 250 games and being expanded upon in the future I haven't played em all. But here is the start of a descent into collecting Wii games madness that I embarked upon!
Well I promised it, so here it goes... I plan on showing off a lot of games. I figure 12 a day at 28 days would be meeting my threshold, plus my thoughts on the games themselves. I plan on doing a better set up with my camera with other games and experimenting with different ways to take pictures so let me know if 12 is enough or if I should just sprawl my mountain of wii games across my living room!
Another year in the bag! 2016 broke new ground in the "Whaaaaa-! It's already over??" category. Somehow I managed to play some games in there, so let's take a look. First up are all the games I beat this year and then how many I bought or somehow acquired (don't worry, I don't list those specifically). Be sure to stick around for the Golden Hippo Awards after that!

“Well Mr. Wright, would you care to explain how the witness could been at the crime scene during this time?”
I put off gaming for a week and just spent my free time reading and watching tv for a change. I live in Southern California and we're in the middle of Summer and heat waves make it miserable to play games indoors, especially PC games, since I don't have AC, preferably, and I spend more time outdoors anyway during the summer anyway.
Xenoblade Chronicles X
I've put about 50 hours into the game and forced myself to take a break. I can't remember the last time a game kept me immersed and unable to quit since maybe Witcher 3. I would not compare the two in any way aside from the time sink they both require. I don't even think some of the bad reviews for X were wrong. It is definitely built around old school level grinding, but it is oh so perty though. I feel like I've barely scratched the surface and I still need to understand the depth of combat and weapons options. I also want to play more of it, but a good break never hurt any game. I think taking a hiatus from a good game makes it feel fresh and new again when you pick it up again.

I believe you can make a good game out of anything. Pulling off some concepts will be harder than others, but if the right approach is taken, then even the most boring or trite idea can be turned into something extraordinarily engaging and compelling. The reason I believe this is because of my strong love for the Ace Attorney franchise, video games where you play as a lawyer defending clients. Yet these are also games where just tapping “Present evidence” on a touch screen can have me shaking from anticipation and excitement.
Sorry folks this is ridiculous. Even in disk format this is still absurd.
Can you believe that 2015 is already over? What I like to do around this time is write about the best games of the past year. Keep in mind that no outside opinions went into the making of this list. It’s just my own picks. And if a game is missing from my list, it either didn’t appeal to me as much, or I just simply haven’t played it yet. Can’t play all the games out there, you know! Plus I do apologize if this list leans toward the Nintendo side. I don’t have an Xbox One or PS4 yet, so you’ll just have to deal with it. So with that out of the way, welcome to my Best Games of 2015 Awards Show!
Yes, my plan to spend each week of the year thinking about a specific year in the past has finally got to its end, and now I'm on this very year.
Played a whole bunch of Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon today.

At the beginning of the year, a friend of mine and I were discussing our favorite games of 2014. His was Far Cry 4, citing how his favorite part was riding elephants, while mine was Dragon Age: Inquisition noting how much fun the dragon hunts were. We reached the conclusion that if a game could let you fight dragons with elephants, it would be the game of forever. I bring this up because the first boss of Tembo: The Badass Elephant is a robot dragon. That’s right, the coolest thing I have ever thought of and this game outdid that idea. While not quite the greatest game ever I imagined, what Tembo offers is pretty damn fun.
Grrr! Rar! Let’s all stomp around and pretend to be dinosaurs! Yeah! You know what else dinosaurs like to do? They like to read game reviews! (I promise that’s not why they went extinct). So to help you along in being a dinosaur, here are some games I’ve been reviewing lately at GamerDad! Please click on the links and read as many as you can and maybe even post a comment or two. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!
Can you believe this year is already half over? What I like to do this time of year is write about the best games of the year 2015 so far. Everyone is all excited over the E3 announcements, and most of the really good titles come out during the Christmas season at the tail end of the year, and the games that come out earlier tend to be forgotten. So this is where those games get their due.
Good morning Pixlbit Nation and Happy Tuesday! My day started at 4:00am for some odd reason and I tried for an hour to go back to sleep but eventually I just fired up the 3DS XL and waited for the alarm to go off. I’m not complaining I had a four day vacation where I got to do nothing but catch up on games, some shows on Netflix, and visited the local mom & pop music store. During this time I did take down two games from Mount Backlog.
