Merry Christmas! I’ve got some presents for you! Game reviews I’ve recently written over at GamerDad.com! Just what you wanted, right? Anyway, please click on the links and read as many as you can and maybe even post a ‘like’ or comment or two. I’d appreciate it. And let’s keep up the tradition of pretend Christmas presents! In the comments section, give me a pretend Christmas present and I’ll give you one, too, when I reply. It can be anything you want, it’s the thought that counts…literally! OK let’s begin!
I went over the Metacritic list of best DS games and made my own list with comments. There's certainly many more great games I didn't mention for various reasons.
It's sort of roughly so because in gaming it means to me the seventh gen consoles which really started in 2005, but it's more strictly so for my TV/Film and reading. So this week I set up my PS3, juiced my DSi XL and got to work.
I'm deeply obsessed with Hogwarts Legacy right now, but I found some time to knock off a few more gen six games for either keeps or trades. Then I got some black friday sale games already - also finished a book and watched more Power Rangers.
I hope you’re hungry, because I’ve got a feast of game reviews I’ve recently written over at GamerDad.com for you all to chow down on! Please read as many as you can and maybe post a ‘like’ or comment or two. I’d appreciate it. After reading all these reviews, you should all have nice fat little bellies! OK let’s begin!
Atari 50 got its most recent update today, which concerns Atari’s heavily intertwined history with Namco (the latter company’s video game division was originally Atari Japan, but Bushnell apparently got into trouble for trying to do business in Japan for not following Japanese regulations and ended up having to sell).
I downloaded every 2000s era game I owned digitally on Xbox and started going through them. I added a bunch to my wish list as well in case a sale comes up.
Summer is winding down, so let’s have one big last bash with game reviews I’ve recently written over at GamerDad.com. Please click on the links and read as many as you can, and maybe post a ‘like’ or comment or two. I’d appreciate it. OK let’s begin!
So, that Acer Aspire laptop I blogged about last time? Screen doesn't come on. I've got to get this repaired (and hope that it doesn't cost too much) so until then, I'm using my trusty, won't-die Samsung Chromebook that I got back in 2017.
I’ve been on a stop motion animation and Wallace and Gromit kick lately, thanks to watching the new movie on Netflix a month or so ago and playing new games and DLC based on the franchise. So I declared last week to be Wallace and Gromit Week at GamerDad! We looked at their movies, shorts, and games, so please click on the links and read them, too! So grab your cheese and crackers and let’s begin!
Valentine’s Day is coming up, so I got you all something special. Game reviews I’ve recently written over at GamerDad.com! Just what you wanted, right? Right? Well, anyway, please click on the links and read as many as you can, and maybe post a ‘like’ or comment or two. I’d appreciate it. OK let’s begin!

I explored some short Game Pass games and dove deep into Halo 5 this week. Also, a recap of Retrocon.
Well, I finished Gears of War 3 and played several others partially. I'm happy with my new plan which seems to push me to finish some games. I managed to finish the Mass Effect Trilogy finally.
I'm looking ahead to September. My playlist will cover 2013-2015, chosen from the greastest of all time lists on Metacritic. But first, some purchases.
These are my picks from page 4 of Metacritic's Best-of-all-time list for the years 2007-2009.
These are my picks from page 3 of Metacritic's best-of-all-time for '07-'09.
Earlier this year, the ESA announced they would be cancelling E3 yet again and they wouldn’t have it anymore. So I wanted to say my final goodbyes and reminisce on my favorite E3 memories here. The reasons why I didn’t do this earlier when they first announced it I was pretty busy at the time, and I figured I’d do it when E3 usually occurred around now.
I can't resist looking ahead to the games I'm going to try and play for my retro gaming in June. This will cover the years 2000-2005, which is the Xbox/PS2/GameCube/Dreamcast/GBA generation roughly speaking. This also becomes a sort of shopping list when I'm out at the game stores. I like to make some notes along the way too, so here is the greatest games of all time list from Metacritic, 1-16, for those years.
It’s raining game reviews I’ve recently written over at GamerDad.com! Please click on the links and read as many as you can, and maybe post a ‘like’ or comment or two. I’d appreciate it. OK let’s begin!
Happy New Year! Around this time of year, I like to make a list of games that are releasing in the coming year that I’m looking forward to. Of course, this isn’t a full complete list, as there will assuredly be titles announced throughout the year that I may get as well. But anyway, here’s what I know now, for the most part, so let’s take a look at what games I’m looking forward to in 2024!

Welcome back to a games-packed edition of Nerds Without Pants! We have most of the big recent releases to talk about, some smaller ones that may or may not be up your alley, and even a little movie talk. Plus, headlines and your emails! Well, email, singular. Should the Banana Boat be drydocked?
2010 was certainly the year of the Wii even though it came out in '06. The top four spots for world wide sales are Wii games with Wii Sports being number 1. Microsoft and Sony tried to imitate Nintendo's success by putting out motion control devices this year with Kinect and Move respectively. Niether did much for thier respective systems. I started blogging this year at 1UP.com. Here are some stuff I played that I would replay and some stuff I missed I'd like to play.
September 15 is my birthday, but the presents are for you! More recent game reviews I’ve written over at GamerDad.com for you to read and post ‘likes’ and comments on. And thanks for doing that. And since it’s my birthday, in the comments section here, please give me a pretend birthday present! It’s the thought that counts, literally! And it’s fun. OK let’s begin!
