All good things come to and end, and by now you know that Nerds Without Pants has ended after over 11 years of pantsless podcasting. But that doesn’t mean Julian and Justin are done. Far from it! Nerds Without Pants is back again, but we’re still getting back into the swing of things. Since we were on a six week hiatus it’s time to catch up on a ton of games that we’ve played since the last time we recorded before break. That’s right, folks, it’s time for an all Consumption Junction edition of NWP! We recorded Nerds Without Pants last night. It is a great show, even though there are some technical difficulties, and I hope you’ll give it a listen when it drops next Wednesday. For the Stage Select topic, Angelo wanted us to select our top three video game intros. This was a difficult task, and I had been thinking about it for the entire two weeks before finalizing my picks. We all picked some awesome games, but of course we could have gone for hours on this one subject. So I thought it would be fun to talk about just a few of the games that almost made my list.

Hey Pixlbit bloggers/readers. Hope everyone has had a great weekend so far. Lately I've been debating on buying Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. With a lot of thought, reading reviews/impressions and watching videos I finally caved in and bought the game. One major reason I bought the game was my girlfriend. I didn't realize it till later, but she actually played an MMO before when she was younger till the first year we got together. It was a game called ToonTown. So my whole dilemma about paying for a monthly subscription fee vanished because I realized my girlfriend also paid for ToonTown.
Though sometimes listed as a platformer, Bomberman 64 is essentially an action/puzzle game. For those unaware, Bomberman is a long-running series which got its start on the NES. It stars little pudgy dudes with oversized round heads, who have an unlimited amount of bombs which they pull from... somewhere. Bomberman 64 brings the series into the third dimension, and features a single player adventure with some wonky puzzle elements.
Let me say this: I was impressed. I'm not the easiest Sonic fan to please, having enjoyed the legacy titles and parts of Sonic Adventure and it's sequel but little else in the franchise.
