I am a huge believer in the God of War. Aries, not Kratos. Where is my Aries game?
Well, howdy Pixl bits! To catch you up to speed on what I have going on and what I'm playing/doing:
I'll be a little more active and at least comment some of y'all's latest blogs soon but for some strange reason I just feel grateful to Scott Stapp all of a sudden.
I'm playing Stray, which is a cat simulator where you help some oppressed robots escape their virus-like ... overlords? Beasts? Anyway, it's a great way to pretend you're a cat and the way the PS5 controller purrs is soothingly accurate.
I was unable to get here from my phone yesterday, and almost thought the site shut down.
Not my fault these weren't posted. No Internet at home. Still the case, but posting from my office.
So sue me, it's a day early for ten and I missed uploading seven and eight properly.
Not sure I would have rented this otherwise, but I do like surprise games I didn't really hear much about from GameFly.
It's been a crazy week what with teaching classes in a hybrid format for the first time, getting through a couple syllabus days, then having classes cancelled due to hurricanes. We got lucky and they missed us so now we just have a lot of water bottles. I plan to take them into work since water fountains are questionable. I mean, I have COVID-19 antibodies so nothing is likely to happen to me, but it seems like a huge no these days as far as spreading. I'm probably just being paranoid but seems like a good use of this artisan water either way (I bought two 24-packs of Dasani and a six-pack of Fiji ... and it turns out two 24 packs of Dasani is the same price as one six-pack of Fiji).
I tested positive for Sars-Cov 2 on July 18 and received results July 24. I am therefore in quarantine until August 1, which ... is not entirely different from what I was doing already, so what the hell? Literally my only consistent symptom is a mild cough which I've had forever now.
