I just spent probably an hour trying to figure out why the latest Script Hook was crashing my Grand Theft Auto V. I followed everything people were writing and still the same problem. Finally it hit me (of course the huge green box in Open IV helped) that I should replace one file with the new one and boom everything works! I am a happy camper again and I can continue the solo story mode of what’s going on in Los Santos. Good morning Pixlpeeps, that is what I was doing this morning during the start of my three day weekend. After this I will probably go back and continue where I left off earlier this week. So a couple of things were brought to my attention earlier this week when checking my email:
I think this is the latest I've ever posted my monthly recap. Life has been nuts! We bought our first house at the beginning of July (it was a long process getting to that point) and we are expecting our third baby anytime within the next week, so July was a crazy month of moving in and preparing for the new baby. Plus I've had pretty frequent overtime—nice for the money but not for moving in and prepping for baby
But I did manage to get some gaming in, as you shall see...
I'm later than usual with this blog. I couldn't find a decent camera to take pictures. Oh well, it's better late than never. I did good in 2014. I didn't buy a lot of games. Got too many digital games though. There were some decent sales this year.
Well Happy Monday good people of the 7 Pixlbit Nation (you’re not humming that bass line, and the hardcore folks are playing air drums). I hope your weekend was filled with fun/rest/games/pickups/and any other fun random things you folks like to do. This past weekend I had the ultra rare CD Friday. I didn’t want to have CD Saturday/Sunday because this weekend I wanted to spend the weekend doing nothing but camping out in front of the television. I did have one big goal for Friday, and that was to get my Dreamcast connected to my television and go back to 1999.
Hello Pixlbit and Hello Friday! The week went by fast and that is always a good thing, hopefully the weekend slows down because I do like the time to just sleep. I have a stack of laundry, which means there won’t be a lot of extra sleep but at least I’ll have clean clothes! Ok I have to confess I am starting this blog on Thursday because on Friday (today for you folks in the future) I will be out and about maybe looking at some new shoes, and new music for the library. Let’s get started because when I’m done with this I have to update my album list, and sync it to my Phone so I don’t by an album I already own.
Damn. It's been a while since I put up any blogs. My plan this year was to do a blog a month. That resolution is out on it's ass.
It's been 3 months since my last blog and to be honest, not much is different from then.
June was not a very good month for games (for me). As you'll see, I didn't have much time to play anything. We moved at the beginning of the month and things didn't let up much after that.

When Sony announced Playstation All Stars, fans of the developer and its long list of exclusive characters let out rounds of applause. Unfortunately, that applause was followed by a mildly depressed sigh of remorse for a game that looked to steal major portions of the Super Smash Brothers battle system. Luckily, players who have been able to get their hands on the beta of Battle Royale have come away with relief all over their faces.

Screenshots taken from the beta version of the highly anticipated PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale have hit reddit, potentially revealing twelve more characters in the All Stars' roster. The list includes:

Back in November of last year, it was becoming apparent that Sony was developing a Super Smash Bros style fighting game featuring various PlayStation exclusive characters. Under the moniker Title Fight, many clues about the mash-up brawler surfaced, including website registrations, as well as the Michael PlayStation 3 advertisement. During a recent press event, Sony finally pulled the curtain back on the game, which is now officially known as PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
Rumors have been abundant over the last two days about Sony’s potential new Intellectual Property. It’s possible that they have been pointing toward a Super Smash Brothers style fighting game. The game seems to be called - or code named - Title Fight. This rumor was leaked by a game developer at SuperBot Entertainment named Paul Gale, on his blog.
2009 was a solid year across all consoles. I was surprised how many niche titles made a big impact on me, while a number of high profile titles simply underwhelmed me.

PlayStation 3 owners who envied their Xbox 360 owning friends and their exclusive access to Braid, needn't envy any longer. Today's PlayStation Store Update brings Braid to PSN alongside a variety of other titles.

This week's Playstation Store update brings with it plenty of new demos, games for sale, and a few games that have had their price tags slashed. Regarding the available demos this week PS3 owners can try out Fat Princess, the second Ratchet and Clank demo, Locoroco Midnight Carnival, and several more.
