Good morning Pixlpeeps! Monday is back and I am ready for the week. I can say that I am at 90% but I am a little unsure if I should hit the gym. I do like my treadmill time but I don’t want to aggravate anything. Maybe I’ll spend time with the Air Conditioning instead. So yesterday morning I spotted some game deals on and well $17 later I added 14 games to my Steam library err Digital Mount Backlog. I installed a couple of them right away including this one
Good morning Pixlpeeps! For you folks in the US, I hope you enjoyed your July 4th Weekend and got to watch some fireworks, and eat tons of food that was grilled. There were a couple of shows that I could see from the house: the local casino put on a heck of a show, and then on the 4th the city had a show at the local muni golf course. The neighbors in my neighborhood were quiet and just had some parties, while the neighborhood across the street sounded like a war zone. Thank goodness there were no dumbasses who decided to shoot their guns in the air, because you know gravity. Since we are in a new month it is time to recap what has happened gaming wise for June
Good morning Pixlbit Nation! It is currently 7:57am here in overcast Southern California. We are currently having some rain, which is always fun. Thursday was filled with thunder, lightning, some of the wet stuff, and for some odd reason it was still warm outside. I can’t wait for when the temperature drops below triple digits and hopefully stays in the 70s or what I like to call “sweater weather” (don’t laugh, I see how you folks on the East Coast freak out over 90-100 degree weather.) Currently I am sitting here waiting for 11am EST so I can try and get a pair of the Supreme Jordan V’s. There is no way I’m getting a pair especially since its limited to 1,994 pairs per model but it’ll be fun to try.
I’m bummed that the weekend has ended already. I would have gotten more stuff done (probably not) and maybe tackled other games on Mount Backlog but alas the weekend is over. Good morning Pixlbit. I’m currently sitting in day three of a Heat Advisory where on Saturday it hit a warm 118 here in Hot as Heck Southern California. I “escaped” the crazy heat by visiting the outlet stores a half hour away from here where it was a cool 106 but there was a breeze. I spent the maybe 30 minutes sitting outside and it was kind of nice
Doesn't sound as good as nineteen eighty-four probably because it doesn't have the literary reference of Adolus Huxley's [George Orwell dummy] book to make it sound important, but I like it well enough. This year I was doing temp office work and hated it. I got offered full-time jobs but turned them all down. In retrospect, it was stupid, but then I was still in my twenties and didn't want to commit to anything. Sound familiar twenty-somethings out there? This below is the music I listened to. I made a list of 77 albums I want to hear now, but these were the 14 I heard then and liked, in no particular order.
Pixl Peeps how are you doing on this warm Friday morning? I for one am glad because this weekend I’m hitting the coast and I will be taking some pictures. I’ll be trying out some of the camera features (more of the gimmick stuff) along with some ideas I saw on YouTube. It’ll be fun to give my 50mm lens something to shoot other than plants and clouds. So since the week is over we get to look back over a week that blew right buy and now its time to get started with another Quick Hits
Happy Friday Pixlbit Nation! I can see the weekend, and its waving back. I don’t know about you but man oh man this week seemed to drag its feet getting to this point. Currently it is really windy here in Southern California, because apparently there is a hurricane off the coast and it’s changing the weather a bit. I’m not complaining because a couple of days of cooler weather are always fine especially if we are staring at triple digits for the next couple of months. Blah! After I finish typing this I’m going to try and enjoy a little bit of this by going to the local satellite post office (it’s at a golf course.) Good morning Pixlbit Nation! It is a cool 51 degrees here in sunny SoCal, the land where winter is a week. I’m currently running on an odd schedule I think I may have eaten something funky at lunch yesterday, woke up at 4:30am, played some 2K, and then went back to sleep at 6, and woke up at 7:30. I got to sleep in all of 30 minutes from my usual 7:15am alarm. I’m seriously debating on going back to sleep the moment I finish this edition of Quick Hits, but there’s so much basketball today that I might overlook the fatigue and upset stomach. Anyways you folks have better things to do than listen to me whine about nonsense so let’s get started!
