I was going to dig into this week's plays when I forgot about RetroCon. There are some videos up of it now but none of the cosplayers yet. There were some good ones I saw and I'm sure someone did a video that'll be posted eventually. Also, I thought I'd mention the first game I played this week, Demon's Souls and post a few vids that I like made by From Software that give me goosebumps every time I watch them.

I'm going to RetroCon here in Oaks, PA with MK this weekend. Not sure what I'll find there, but it's always interesting. We've been going to it for a few years now. Lots of old TV actors, voice actors, memorabilia, cosplayers, and games and stuff you can buy. I'll link a video below. But first, what I played this week on PS3.

The 1980s was a decade with no shortage of TV action/crime dramas featuring a suave loner with a high-tech vehicle on a crusade to champion all that is good. At the top of the pile was Knight Rider. Each week, David Hasselhoff hit the road to stop criminals with the help of KITT- a super-advanced Pontiac Firebird Trans Am voiced by William Daniels (aka Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World). A popular show in syndication by 1988, Knight Rider was the perfect candidate to get a licensed video game on the even more popular Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). So now, sit back and join me on this shadowy flight into a dangerous world of a man who does not exist.

A new year brings promise of new video games, so I thought I’d write about which ones I’m looking forward to this year.  Of course there will probably be some announcements of new games throughout the year (like at E3), as it’s a bit early.  And of course some things may be delayed, too.  But anyway, let’s take a look at what I’m looking forward to playing and reviewing this year. 

Good morning Pixlpeeps! It is a gloomy Southern California day because we are waiting for the second rain storm. We are supposedly going to have at least three days of rain which we don't usually get but we are in a drought so the rain is appreciated. Later on today President Obama and family will be visiting and if it wasn't so gloomy I would make the trip out to the local airport to see their motorcade and of course Air Force One, which will be called I believe SAM 28000 (tail number) because the Air Force One designation is for the sitting president. Like all previous presidents, the things I hope for: Don't f**k up, and leave the place better than you found it. Once again I don't care about who you voted for, we now have a new President.

Agents of P.I.X.L.B.I.T. what is up? It is currently Thursday night as I type this intro because I’ve been battling a cold and I think on Friday I’m going to spend quality time sleeping…or watching the Game Show Network. I currently have a raspy voice going which means I could probably be a decent Rock/Blues Singer. We’ll find out once I charge the iPod in the bathroom and I do all my singing in the shower. Singing or getting graphics ideas, the shower is the perfect place for it. So how has your week gone? Anything going on this weekend? I was going to check out a very minor league wrestling show at a YMCA and enter the raffle for a new 3DS XL but since I have this fun cold, it looks like a no go for really bad wrestling. I shouldn’t say bad, these folks are putting on a show, we’ll just say very minor league wrestling. Anyways let’s get this blog started.

Alright Pixlbit, it is time to take a look through my game library. I figured the best way for this little collection is to start with the one console that started it all but before that happens I still need to take some pictures for a handful of other systems.

Well hello good people of Pixlbit Nation! I hear that E3 is done, and I’ve checked out some blogs here about it. There are lots of interesting points of view, and I dig all the excitement surrounding your favorite titles. As for myself, I stuck with my usual “Let’s watch Sony” press conference and then I was good for the show. You’ll read about more of my thoughts later on, but since it is Friday, it is time for another edition of Quick Hits! For today I want to discuss my thoughts about the Sony Presser, some spoiler thoughts on tv shows Game of Thrones, Hells Kitchen, and The Challenge, as well as my usual pickups (hint I found a local spot that sells classic plastic).
