So last week I found out that the neighborhood is having another neighborhood garage sale and I wanted to participate by selling off my records. Then I figured why stop there so I went into the games closet and picked out games that I really don’t want anymore. Everything from NES all the way up to the current PS4. I couldn’t part with my Vita games because I really don’t have a lot to begin with and I kind of like them. So on the weekend I set out to go through the collection and pull games. Overall I think I trimmed about 50% of the collection and I’m feeling good.
2016 sucked for me. Not because a bunch of celebrities bit the dust or our politics got even more polarized, though that didn't help, but for extremely personal reasons I won't go into.

So this was my Memorial Day Weekend in a nutshell: Sleep, Nap, Eat, Tinker on the Laptop, Nap, Sleep. Rinse Repeat. Not the best way to spend what is the start of summer but it was hot outside (100+ degrees), the AC was nice and cold, and have you ever watched Investigative Discovery Channel? That is like crack. So I didn't move much, and most of my non phone gaming happened on Monday night, so that is my full disclosure.
MvC Arcade ... maybe ... I mean I've played it since cause movie theaters exist, but I THINK I actually played it in '98.
It feels odd to not have to write a new entry everyday. Granted I didn't have to write much during BaD but it was still fun to wake up, and write about a song that was on a list. Anyways I am now getting back to a normal posting schedule of just Monday and Friday, I do miss the fun of BaD. Since we are in a new month its time to take a look back at February and see what I finished in the month.

Took a damn year to get the ONE trophy I needed to get Platinum in Arkham Knight (Brutality 101, where Batman performs 15 different moves without stopping or getting hit), but yesterday it finally happened. ... And it was a bit anticlimactic in all honesty.
I'll post New Year's Resolutions tomorrow maybe, but for now I'll just do a quick update blog about what I've been playing.
Greetings Pixlbit and Welcome to the Fourth Annual Chris Goes All Awards Show. I almost forgot that the year is almost over and before I get caught up in the rush of finding gifts for people and wrapping things I might as well get my awards show going. This year wasn't as active as last year because I think I played longer games, and stuck playing those games instead of jumping from one game to the next. The question will be will any game top this favorite from last year
I’ve always enjoyed the early Ridge Racer series. I fondly remember playing the original game over a friend’s house, wishing that I had a PlayStation of my own to play it on. It was very accessible and didn’t take a tremendous effort to make it past the learning curve. And not much has changed here in Ridge Racer Revolution. On the surface, it plays much like its predecessor. It even starts off with a Galaga ‘88 mini-game similar to the Galaxian one in previous game. Some regard Revolution as “Ridge Racer 1.5” due its similarities to the original, which is somewhat understandable since this game went for full price upon its initial release. Even so, Ridge Racer Revolution received a few nice tweaks that made it a decent step up from its predecessor.
Good morning Pixlpeeps! I hope you folks in the US had a safe Labor Day and for the folks outside of the country I also hope you had a safe Monday. Since we had a three day weekend there was a lot of free time to get some work out of the way, play some games, eat lots of food, and then regret eating lots of food. Play some fun games this past weekend? Here in sunny Southern California we lost an hour of sleep and are now at the same time as the good people of Arizona. I miss that extra hour.
