In my year-long project, June is 1970s month. In video gaming this means Pong, Atari 2600, arcade games and various LED handhelds.
This is what I picked up last time I was at Classic Game Junkies. I'm also including an item I saw there but didn't buy.
I played a lot of this Greek Mythology action game last month. Puzzle elements eventually wore me out, but I enjoyed everything else.

Well, here we are. It’s the final episode of Nerds Without Pants for 2022. It sure has been a year that happened, with things and events and…I’m already pretty checked out, to be honest.
I'll relate some recent plays and then get on to my current sickness, High on Life, where I took a bunch of screen shots.

Welcome to the penultimate episode of Nerds Without Pants! It’s a shorter show this time around, as we take your super hero video game pitches, talk about a small handful of games, and find out who comes out on top between Spider-Man 2 (2004) and Spider-Man (2018).
I made a list of what I played in 2010. Here they are in chronological order.
15 Years of Super Mario Galaxy!
Three games played and looking forward to a new retro game to play in November.
My new plan is to look up the highest rated games on a system and play what interests me going from top to bottom. So far it's been Forza Horizon 5 first and then Halo Infinite on Xbox Series S and Into the Breach and Fire Emblem Three Houses for Switch. Of course, I'm still playing games for Game Pass rewards, MS Rewards and a few old projects of mine. I did remove a bunch of games from my hard drive I was planing on playing but don't fit the current plan. They'll come back around again anyway. It's still a lot of games. I guess the goal is to reduce the number and increase the quality of the games I play. There's only so much time, isn't there?
I returned to Assassin's Creed Odyssey a couple of weekends ago and realized a new quest has been added in which Kassandra and her two friends (Barnabas and Herodotus) go on another quest after Kass has taken a six-month-long vacation. I didn't read much about it when it was released so I didn't realize until it was over that it was the final story mission and thus the actual end of the game. There's still plenty of stuff to do (and I haven't done any DLC stuff yet) but seeing the actual end of a game that took me a little over 200 hours felt very poignant. AC Odyssey may be a controversial entry in the series (for certain AC fans) but it was so satisfying to me. I still plan to return to its shores some day....

Welcome back to a really fun episode of Nerds Without Pants! We have lots of games to talk about, terrible jokes, smooth segue ways, and find out the games that will square off in our first Video Game Cage Match championship match next episode!

Welcome back to Nerds Without Pants! We’re coming in a bit late this, time, because Julian got real dang sick after we recorded. Thankfully you won’t notice that in the episode, and it’s a pretty good one, even if we didn’t have much new to say this week.

Welcome back to Nerds Without Pants! We don’t have anything new to talk about when it comes to what we’ve played, but Justin rises to the challenge by debuting not one, but two new segments. We also begin the semi-finals of the Video Game Cage Match championship tournament. Spread it on!

Well howdy, partner! Nerds Without Pants is back, and Mike Fallek as back. So you know what that means: a massively meandering show that loses control almost immediately. Enjoy! Also, why did I start this by typing “howdy, partner”?

Welcome back to Nerds Without Pants! This week, we hop onto our Email Banana Boat and read your emails! We also talk a lot about games! It’s…you know…a podcast.
