So I think the novelty of sorting/organizing my digital crap has worn off. For the past couple of days I took a break from organizing the Photo Drive, and I jumped on the Media Drive to do the same. Like I said in Monday's (or was it Tuesday) blog, I found more pictures so I threw those into a folder named Sort Photos and then I was off to clean up the Media Drive. The Media Drive was a lot easier because most things I could just toss, like I had copies of my micro SD Cards from my first Smart Phones. Yeah I don't know why I kept them, especially after I made the jump to iPhone, but I kept them, along with a ton of random documents, and other interesting yet unneeded items.
So this is week two for Coachella and I refuse to leave my house because the Coachella kids suck at driving. Let's recap last week: the family went back to Hawaii and I decided to go out because to run some errands and do my usual of check out what's going on a Walmart (you did this to me Target when you decided to close your doors at my favorite store) and I ran into these folks. We had rich guy in Porsche (I'm in the Porshaaa camp, because I've always said it this way and one of my former professors who restores them also said this was the correct way to say it) who was going super slow in the fast lane, while on the phone, another guy who decided that the intersection was the perfect time to change lanes, and my personal favorite guy who doesn't understand the concept of a four way stop honks at you because you took your turn and didn't let him skip. Granted I live in a small town and a lot of the Coachella kids probably look down on it because they're from LA, SD, or any other big city but common sense on the roads people! It's not that hard. Anyways let's get started.
When a brand-new game console comes out, I like to write a blog about the console that came before it, and talk about my favorite games on it. So now that the Nintendo Switch has been released, I’d like to honor the Wii U and go over my favorite games for that system (not in any particular order).
I don't think my body cares about the fall backwards, spring forwards time change anymore. I woke up at the same time I normally do: 30 minutes before my alarm. During this time I question why I wake up that early, read Twitter while listening to the local news, and maybe a quick scan through Reddit. That is how I welcomed in spring forward. Good morning Pixlpeeps! Since I got that out of the way, how are you good people? I got some gaming in this past weekend while debating on playing something new on the iPhone/iPad. Let's check out what I played this past week
Hey it's time for round 2! Let's get started with my next batch of games!
Good morning Pixlpeeps from a very wet Southern California. The past three days have been nothing but rain, and it is much needed rain. The backyard is flooded, I know where all the flashlights are in the house, and apparently nobody sells boxes of matches. I kept getting the “would you like these BiC lighters?” (the ones with the long head so you can light fireplaces and candles) When not dealing with this I may have played some games during the weekend as well as some random instances that make you say what the hell. Anyways let's get started!
Good morning Pixlpeeps and 2017 has that new year smell. Currently as I type this latest entry I am on hold with my insurance. Let me just say I H-A-T-E automated systems because this company has the worst one. It leads you down a path where you think you are getting somewhere only to be shut down with a “due to a high volume we cannot accept your call” Seriously WTF is this? Why did I just sit through five minutes of prompts, horrible voice recognition software, and eventually just typing it in, or yelling “Operator” just in hopes of talking to a real breathing person. Hopefully a person in the USA and not some random country (I'm looking at you former piece of s**t phone service.) I need to take my mind off of being on hold and listening to the worst musak on the planet.
Good morning Pixlpeeps! In about 30 minutes or so I will be off to check out this flick during its really early showing
Good morning Pixlpeeps! I hope the weekend treated you good people well, and it is time for another start to the week. This weekend there really wasn’t much in terms of gaming for me because I binged watched a ton of House of Cards, and I have three episodes left in the season. The reason I stopped watching is because I found the Godfather Epic on one of the HBO’s and if you haven’t seen it, the folks who released it chopped up Part II, and placed I and II in chronological order. The only thing that was missing was the end scene in Part II where Michael announces that he has joined the Army which angered Tom and Sonny. I forgot to mention that deleted scenes were added which add to the story (you see a young Hyman Roth.) During all this TV time I did manage to sneak in some games

Yes, I'm finally playing the Gothic Horror Lovecraftian excellence that is Bloodborne!
Coming from a Souls series fan, it might seem odd that I waited so long, but I didn't own a PS4 until recently and I was also waiting for DLC which seemed appear just around the corner.
I've only had one real good weekend with game and barely made much progress, but I've been picking away at it all week, and it is defintely pulling me in and making it hard to put down. I don't have a final verdict for the game yet, but it's definitly a pretty game. There are some annoyances like the consumables farming in particluar, but I've managed to make progress regardless.
I've been playing Battlefront inbetween to break up the stressfullnes Souls games tends to put on me when I play them, so it's all good. Yes, I actually enjoye Battlefront despite what the internet says about EA's price gouging practices, but I don't play it in marathon sessions and just pick up short matches here and there, plus the game looks and sounds divine.
I'm also enjoying FREEDOM WARS, which is a weird as Japanese game that I can't really explaing in a sentence because I'm stupid. It's a squad based action game that mixes melee and gun combat where you take on missions to defeat giant ass monster enemies like in Monster Hunter. You also have this wierd bungie cord harpoon attached to your hand so you can grapple on to a giant boss and go to town on it. If you've seen Attack on Titan, then you pretty much get the idea. It's unique and I've never played anything like it. It's also free on PS+ this month as well as Gauntlet and Kings Quest.
Happy Tuesday Pixlpeeps! I was going to post this yesterday but decided to hold off until today because I wanted to finish two games, get them off the Mount Backlog and maybe check out some other games. Since there was only one game I wanted to watch yesterday because my Aztecs were in a bye week (oh Dallas Cowboys. Why do you keep finding a way to lose in the last play or last series of a game). Let's get started with what I played over the weekend
Pixlpeeps what is going on? It has been crazy weather here in normally sunny SoCal was warm during Halloween weekend, and then last night it got really windy and cool. For you East Coast folks, its 70 degrees and I wore my new sweatshirt.
Good morning Pixlpeeps! I figured I should get back on my normal routine of Monday and Friday entries, and use the rest of the week to read your writings. So guess what? I actually fired up my PS4. After updating (ugh!, seriously why can’t it update automatically like the PS3) I was ready to go. I also spent some time with the 3DS XL, along with my usual tablet gaming. Sounds like fun? Well we should get started.
Pixlpeeps what is up! Happy Monday to you good people. Over the weekend I finally fired up my PS4. I think the last time I did that was a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been in a PS3 mood with college football in full swing and I started a new Dynasty Mode with a created team, The Long Beach State 49ers.
Happy Monday Pixlbit Nation. So we are starting August and the summer is almost over. Of course here in my little piece of Southern California that means crazy triple digit heat and I’m at the point where I want to start knocking out more games off Mount Backlog. Since I haven’t given a games played update in a couple of weeks its time to catch up and see how July went.
So I finally completed another set of armor in MHU4. It took awhile but I finally got down a decent strategy to take down the Kecha Wacha.
Hello fellow citizens of Pixlbit. School has been piling me with a whole bunch of homework so I haven't had the time to write on here. Over the weeks I've purchased a few things that I may not recall. So I'll try to remember.
Pixlbit Happy Tuesday! For you East Coasters again Stay Warm! As the Blog A Day rolls on it is time to get back to my Game Collection blogs. For today I am going to skip around a bit and go with one of my favorite handhelds that seems to get a lot of hate because of a perceived “lack of games”, and that is the Sony Vita. At first I was a little hesitant to purchase a Vita because of the nub problems I had with the PSP. I loved the PSP but the nub issues soured me a bit but I think once I either buy replacement nubs for both PSP’s (1000 and 3000 versions) I’ll be happy.
