If I’m really going to embrace my earlier talking point- “It’s more fun to mention the things a game does wrong than the things it does right”, then Ni No Kuni gives me a bunch of things to mention. These are things that you have read about if you had any interest in the Level-5 RPG released exclusively for the PS3. The battle system for one, horrendous. The story, shallow. The Pokemon-esque collectathon, pointless. The setting, somewhat evocative, but cloying. Maybe I made that last one up. Maybe I have no child-like wonder left. The game is for babies, after all, right? Wasn’t that the main criticism?
Level-5’s Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is one of next year’s most sought after Playstation 3 titles. For those curious about its premise, you might be happy to know that Namco Bandai has announced a playable demo that will be released tomorrow, Tuesday, December 4th in North American. The demo will hit Europe the following day on Wednesday, December 5th.
Nintendo is known for many things, and chief among them would be their amazingly popular library of games. While that has kept the company firmly in the hearts and minds of millions of gamers, most hardcore fans would admit that the Big N hasn’t quite leveraged the digital space as well as they could. Nintendo is hoping to turn that sentiment around when it comes to the 3DS eShop. The eShop has seen some impressive original releases and some classics on the Virtual Console, but Nintendo is coming strong with a lineup of titles and content from October through the end of the year.
Recently at Global Gamer's Day, Namco Bandai revealed that Studio Ghibli and Level-5's Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has been delayed. The title was originally scheduled to release this winter, but will now not reach American shores until early 2013.

To mark the occasion, a few members of the PixlBit staff began a dialogue concerning the future of the movement and if it’s at all possible that Operation Rainfall could revive the west’s love for the Japanese RPG.
We can now narrow down the North American release window for Level-5’s Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch. Namco Bandai revealed that they have moved from the vague release window of 2012 to the slightly less vague release window of winter 2012. Assuming the publisher isn’t referring to the winter we currently find ourselves in, this means that we’ll likely see the Studio Ghibli collaborated RPG come stateside at the end of the year.
Today, Namco Bandai officially announced their plans to publish Ni No Kuni in North America. The Level-5 developed RPG has already seen release in Japan on the DS and will be available soon on the PlayStation 3. At this time, Namco Bandai has only announced support for the PlayStation 3 release of the game, which has been retitled Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch.

Today, Level-5 announced at their annual conference in Tokyo that they are collaborating with Capcom to create a brand new title featuring the Professor Layton and Ace Attorney universes for the 3DS.
Keep in mind this list is partial, by Nintendo's word, and most titles are tentative, if even that.
Level 5 has announced that they will open a North American branch in September. Level 5 International America will be located in Santa Monica, California, and will serve as Level 5's North American headquarters. The company also plans to open a European branch sometime in 2011.
