I played a hefty amount today with some good results. Then I got resupplied with OG Xbox games from my friend and from a few online orders which appeared today.
Games of the Decade: Expansion Pass #10/Blog a Day #21

We’re still getting things off the ground for 2021 here at Nerds Without Pants, so this is an all Consumption Junction episode of the show. Mike Fallek joins us for a show that goes off the rails almost immediately and never recovers. So if that sounds like your bag, here we go!

Ohai! This werk on the Nerds Without Pants Borkcast we have a heckin’ gud tym giving treats to the goodest bois, the bestest puppers, and the frendist doggos. Then we get sum chikem nuggs.
So yeah, still playing far too much Animal Crack Crossing. It doesn't help when Cary keeps feeding my addiction by sending me presents on a daily basis, lol. Thank you, Cary! I have, however, been quietly amassing a bunch of other games.

The Last of Us Part II has become one of the most divisive games of this console generation, so much so that we weren’t quite sure if we should do a full spoiler-cast, a quickie discussion during a Consumption Junction segment, or just skip it entirely. But it turns out that we have a lot to say about this game, so come join us to hear from the perspective of someone who played the entire game, and someone who watched a playthrough as we spoil the crap out of this game.

Somehow, Nerds Without Pants has been podcasting pantsless for 8 years straight! Angelo joins us for a celebration, lots of reminiscing about console launches, and a good amount of video game talk. This is one of our most fun episodes so far this year, so don’t miss it!
I have Days Gone out from GameFly and I am not very far into it at all, but it just isn't grabbing me. I keep being told to play through cause the story gets better but I'm only going to give it so much rope before deciding against it. So far it really does feel similar gameplay and story-wise to The Last of Us Remastered, which was the first game I ever played on my PS4.
Good morning Pixlpeeps! So last night I finished Tiger King because it was the show everyone was watching and I finished it in I think three days. I stopped here and there because it was just a hot mess of crazy. Since I finished I would like to share some thoughts, so if you haven’t seen it yet, and don’t want to be spoiled or if you don’t care just skip today, it’s not a problem and I’ll see you tomorrow. For everyone else let’s get started.
Good morning Pixlpeeps! Currently it is a cool 55° and sunny and I am writing this blog entry before heading out. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend full of various things or just stayed home and be lazy. Either is fun.
I played through episode 2 and 3 of this today. I'm honestly not a big fan of these TellTale style games because there's not a lot to do in them but watch and choose paths in the story, but I found myself moved by the end of episode 2 and torn by tough decisions in episode 3. It's really well done for what it is.

Welcome, friends, to the next episode of Nerds Without Pants that was actually recorded before the PREVIOUS episode of Nerds Without Pants! Come join us on a time travelling romp with Mike Fallek. We have no topic, no agenda, so that means this is pure, unfiltered Fallek. Um, strap in.
Recently I reviewed SkullGirls: 2nd Encore. It’s a 2-D one-on-one fighter with cartoony graphics and I’ve been wanting to review it since 2012 when it came out, but for whatever reasons I wasn’t able to. But I got my chance when it came out on the Switch! For what’s considered an indie game, this one is very good. Almost on par with fighters like BlazBlue and Guilty Gear! I was very impressed with the creativity of the characters and even the storylines in the Story Mode were pretty interesting. And usually they aren’t in fighting games. So when that happens, I usually like to write a blog about the characters, and so we’ll do that here. Some slight story spoilers here and there, just to warn you, but the game HAS been out since 2012.
So this is Southern California the past week: HOT. Last week it was in the 70s, I wore a hoodie (with shorts), the windows were open and everything is good. This week, it is warm there’s no hoodie (still wearing shorts), and yesterday I broke down and turned the AC on. I fought the good fight but it got toasty. After I update you good people on my randomness I will most likely head out to the bank, maybe check out the thrift stores on the way back, and then get an ice coffee before starting the 3 day weekend so let’s get this started.
I finished the main game of B2 today, or nearly so, and then started the new DLC that's supposed to link up the story of B2 with upcoming B3. I haven't finished it yet but it's interesting so far.
So with spring nearly over and summer almost here, I thought I’d go over the movies I saw in theaters this past spring. I’ll try to keep the spoilers to a minimum, but one or two may seep out here and there, so you’ve been warned!
I played this the other day and finished it. Of course, it's not really finished because there are more achievements. I haven't decided if I'm going back in again, though. I've left it installed in case I feel like it.
Good morning Pixlpeeps! It is Friday, the weather here has been 20° below normal which is always good and I am ready to catch you good people up on my Quick Hits. Sound like fun? Let’s get started!
So I’ve been away for a couple of days and away from the laptop. Sure having the phone is nice but there’s nothing like having a full on laptop to type away, and just have the screen real estate to watch videos, read, and maybe play some games. I did however have my phone, which don’t get me wrong is still one heck of a media device, and my Switch so during down times I did play some games. Funny thing about this is that at times I forgot today is Tuesday. I kept thinking it was Monday.
Ok so I skipped yesterday because I do have somewhat of a good excuse. I was busy and by the time I had time to do some bloggin’ I was exhausted and thought eating and sleeping was a better option. Sorry folks. Well I am here today so let’s get started
