So we've just had E3, and the year is half over. We have the PS5 and the Xbox Scarlet on the horizon, as well as rumors of a Switch hardware revision. But there are a lot of games coming down the pipeline, including some games which finally havs a release date after God knows how many years. So here is what I'm looking forward to.

So it's been 90s week on my Switch this week. I got Turok a little over a week ago, and then I've also been playing a certain little known PS1 RPG that somehow just found its way onto a Nintendo console over 20 years later. And that got me thinking about the N64.

Recently a friend of mine found out that I like to play video games as a hobby. He plainly told me that he thought it was immature for a grown man to be playing video games. I told him that most gamers today are adults. This led to a serious discussion about this topic. Here are some things which he said and my arguments against them. I'm posting this because I want your guys' thoughts on this topic.

Well, it looks like Nerds Without Pants is reaching the end of Chrono Crossing. I didn't consistently participate in it, and I regret that. But I enjoyed talking about my favorite games of every year. Brought back a lot of memories.

So May is kind of looking bad on the game beating side. Ive been working on stuff of course but I really dont think anything is close to being finished. Persona 5 Im at 80 hours but there is still quite a bit to go. Yokai Watch 2 I got my ass handed to me by the latest boss so some leveling up is required. I am Setsuna, same story. The current boss Im at keeps kicking my ass and I dont have Setsuna for this fight which she is my healer so it makes it even more difficult. Wonder Boy and Shovel Knight I both havent played much lately. Tales of Berseria Im not sure how far Im in, the same with Toukiden 2 but at the same time Persona 5 has taken up most of time on the PS4. I only have 4 days now to beat a game. Its doesnt look good yall.

So I bought Ocarina of Time for the 3DS to fill my Zelda itch. I didnt like BOTW so Im left with a itch like a damn rash to play a Zelda game. I have a friend who is trying real hard to convince me to give BOTW another try at some point and I might. I Might. Till then  Im gonna work on finishing OOT again.

I was thinking about the consoles I collected in the 90s. There was the NES, SNES, Genesis (with 32X and CD add-ons), Playstation and N64. I had some great game experiences with all of them, but when I think about which one I enjoyed the most, it was the N64.

I'm 99% sure Nintendo used the Triforce to make it this good

I remember the first time I played Super Mario 64 and was amazed at seeing Mario move in 3D. I remember thinking how vast and expansive the fields of Hyrule looked in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. And I remember carjacking a truck, driving as fast as I could until flying off a cliff in Grand Theft Auto III. At the time, these games all had an unrivaled sense of freedom. They formulated a magical feeling, as new doors seemed to open and an experience I could only imagine was now real. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild now joins these titles in creating the same sense of wonder.

It’s been a pretty crazy week. To think I plopped $360 for a Nintendo Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is quite interesting. In a way, it reminds me of when I stood in line for the Nintendo Wii. I bought it strictly to play The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Yes, sure it was also for the Gamecube and Breath of the Wild is also on Wii U, but I was going to plop money on the Switch regardless. It was bound to happen. I’m a Nintendo fan. I’ve been a fan since I was 7 years old playing The Nes and SNES respectively. After spending a week in the Wild I figured I would offer up a little review or synopsis of my experience with the latest Zelda.
