I'm ending April this week even though there are a few more days left and moving on to my next theme. It was a grueling month for me who has so little patience for repeating levels and making that perfect jump; but I, like they do in special ops training, pushed beyond my limits as much as I could. I'll be putting up a blog of all the games I played over at wordpress very soon and a what-I-liked best of blog here. Here's what I got to this week before I decended into incremental games out of exhaustion.
2024 has come and gone. There were ups and downs (my gosh, it could be downright brutal at times) but I got to play cool games and that's what really matters, right?
Good evening Pixlpeeps! Ok so I had some work stuff today, and it went faster than expected but after that I took a crazy nap because my body is catching up on some lost sleep. For some odd reason I’ve been waking up at 5am, going back to sleep at 6am and finally hitting my alarm when it goes off at 7:12am. Odd week. Anyways it’s late yet here I am writing about the past week’s stuff.
Games of the Decade #19/Blog a Day #12
SPOILERS AHEAD! SPOILERS AHEAD! IF YOU SPOIL THESE 2 GAMES FOR YOURSELF ITS NOT MY FAULT! I GAVE YOU A WARNING!
It has uhhh... been quite some time since the last blog I see....wow I honestly fell off the face of the earth for a while there. Honestly, life the last few months even before last year ended was not the best for me. I was under a lot of stress and I was not in a happy place at all mentally and basically just pretended everything was fine till I suddenly broke down at the beginning of March and just realized I am not okay and I need to escape. Thankfully a business trip I had coming in March helped a lot more than I realized it would have and seriously got me back to a much better state of mind. I'm more positive and better managing the stress still in my life.
So with the weekend upcoming and only a few more days of blogging left. I have to create this particular mess of a blog by pointing out other great hidden gems for other systems. The reviews will be a lot more condensed and shorter, but you may find some titles you have yet to play and want to give a shot
Well... This is something, yet here I am almost one week later. The initial wave of emotion has worn off and my will has been battle tested. And so I figured I'd give my two cents as to a justifiable review of Super Mario Odyssey. Odyssey is in fact a very fun game, but is it the masterpiece I initially thought is was as well as others? The answer to that is a no unfortunately, which isn't a knock on Odyssey.
Jesus H. Christ. I've been writing for 6 days now, almost 12 hours a day and have pumped roughly 18000 words into various projects. I'm really proud of my world and characters so far, and I honestly haven't been able to keep them out of my head for the most part.

Hey guys, just thought I'd give you a little update on my life, since that's why you're all subscribed to pixlbit and paying $12.99 a week for this glorious privelege. If you were unaware you've been paying me all this time, that's technically on you and you should have read the fine print before joining pixlbit. You pay us all weekly, Nick owns your soul, and you should all be getting a diabetic puppy sometime in August.
Hello hello. It's been once again awhile since I blogged. Much like dracula I shun the light and waking up past the crack of 3pm *hiss* Anyways E3 happened and I am of course pumped about the PS4. I don't know if I will get it just yet seeing as how there is NEO on the way and the crazy VR. I want the Last Guardian so badly though. Like you have no idea. Iloved Ico and Shadow of the Colossus...I've been waiting since this was announced as far back as 2009! Remember 2009? Back before we had hovercars! We walked up hills! Walked I say!
So a few days ago I beat Ys: Memories of Celceta on my PS Vita. It was a fun game, but not near as good as Ys Seven on PSP. One of the reasons why I liked Ys Seven so much was it had a fantastic and memorable soundtrack. One of the best I’ve heard in recent memory. The Vita Ys game wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t as memorable. So now I’m going to try and do something I’ve never done before here: write a blog and post videos of music from Ys Seven that you can listen to. (Yeah this is kind of a filler blog) I hope I can get it to work! Here goes nothing!

The 1980s was a true renaissance period for the budding video game industry. Arcade games like Xevious, Donkey Kong, and OutRun gave us new levels of visual, audio and strategic detail that took us beyond the comparatively simple mechanics of Pong and Space Invaders. It was indeed the golden age of gaming.
So another E3 came and went and honestly, I did not pay a fraction of my attention that I usually do. Blame now having an adult life and responsibilities. However, I did look up quite a few things and here's what I think.
Some thoughts/ideas for tomorrow's rumored games

Well hello everyone! I hope everyones 2015 is going swell, totally did not realize how long it has actually been since i wrote a blog...wow it's been a long time. I am a bit sad I missed BaD...I actually forgot about it being in February but I forgot a lot of things during February because it was a seriously busy month for me. I'll remember for next year though!
Well I've been thinking about this a lot after one of my anime reviewers decided to up sticks and go on to something bigger and better so I figured "New Year, why not?"
